Processes

Even processes need processes.
Any audit undertaken by our clients has always validated the consistency, maturity and high quality standards of our best-in-class processes.
That gives us the confidence to state that, for large and complex projects, iQuest is a perfect IT development partner.

Software Development Lifecycle - the heart of the matter

The software development process at iQuest is based on the Rational Unified Process (RUP) and is configured according to typical business-driven projects. Our team also includes certified SCRUM Masters brought into play when agile methodologies constitute the most appropriate working practice.

Characteristics of the iQuest agile methodology:

Best practice are a key to our success; factors such as test-driven development, continuous build and integration, code review and daily status meetings.

iQuest Security Practices

Security is, for us, an enabler of service delivery.
Policies, rules, procedures and tools are in place to protect data and network security and the safety of premises.

Secure environments Physical access is handled by the access control system, connected to - and monitored 24x7 - by a surveillance company. Each employee only has access to dedicated network resources, protected from unauthorised access by firewalls, DMZ and VLANs designed to secure traffic between different network segments.
We ensure high availability through redundant systems and fault tolerance as part of our business continuity approach.
Protection against malicious attacks Software Updates are performed regularly and are remotely installed on every workstation. Every system is protected by automatically updated antivirus software which is remotely controlled and enforced.
Data confidentiality Data confidentiality is ensured using cryptographic solutions; third party access and remote working are subject to specific policies.
Security organisation A Security awareness and education programme is in place throughout the whole company.
Review Periodical Security audits and reviews are undertaken to ensure that the Security policies are followed all the way from intentions to the daily operations.

Service Level Agreements

Our deliverable service quality is confirmed by contractual regulations within the Service Level Agreement, along with the specification of the target and warranty values, particularly time-frame and functionality goals.

It’s simply a reassuring way of iQuest promising to deliver the best: appropriate services, more cost effectiveness and optimal productivity.

Closeness to customers

iQuest is not only geographically close to its customers, having offices or partnerships in their key markets, but it is also next to them by being totally involved in finding the best solutions for each issue. If the project requires, iQuest team members can be located at customer premises for periods of on-site work.
For projects requiring intensive on-site presence, we’ve developed a Local NearShore model, based on a specific combination of local and nearshore IT services, aligned with customer and project requirements.
