The Trip Journal application awarded in London

After the best travel application reward received by Google in December 2009, the application developed by iQuest is once again internationally recognised. Within the Mobile App World 2010 event organised in London between 19-20 October, Trip Journal was chosen as the best application in the ‘Excellence in Design’ and ‘Best paid for app categories.
A pioneering event, the Mobile App World brings together global leaders from the mobile technology, application developers, marketing specialists and entrepreneurs, being an excellent opportunity to network, collaborate and generate new ideas. During the two-day conference, world-renowned representatives of these industries shared opinions and experiences on what it means to develop a successful application, one which brings real business value.
This event also featured a mobile application competition, welcoming applications from all over the world, ranging from financial to entertainment apps and games. The members of the jury, specialists in mobile apps development, online marketing and advertising tested and judged hundreds of diverse applications falling into 12 categories. Only 3 applications for each category made it to the final.
On the evening of 19 October, Trip Journal was the winner in two of these categories. Firstly, the iQuest team’s application won the ’Excellence in Design’ award, followed by the ‘Best paid for app’ prize.
A happy day for an application developed in Romania and used worldwide by all passionate travellers.
These new awards honour us and assure us once again that the mobile technology is considered to be a more and more popular technological niche in the world, both by users and specialists alike.
